We are approved by the Better Business Bureau and have long been members of the Jewelers Board of Trade. If you are having any doubts about us, we strongly suggest requesting one of our Free Mailing Packets and taking a look at the accompanying documentation, we think you'll be satisfied with what you see. Selling Answers:
1. There is no minimum amount necessary in order to sell to GreenForGold™. Whether you are looking to sell an old broken gold class ring, or a kilo of Fine Gold-No amount is too large or too small to buy.
2. Ounce, Pennyweight(DWT.), and Gram are all various measuring standards used to measure the weight of metals. They can all be converted into one and other using simple formulas. Thus, we do not adhere to any specific measure, and they are usually alternated in reference to the amount of metal being weighed. NOTE! Many of our competitors and online metal buyers use these measurements to confuse the client. They mainly use Pennyweight prices, to avoid the client seeing the ounce price that they are offering, as pennyweight prices are more attractive to the eye and mislead the potential client.
3. If you are not sure if something is Gold or not you can still include it, but please make sure that it is not marked G.F.(Gold Filled), Plated, or H.G.E.(Heavy Gold Electroplate).
4. Yes our prices reflect the Troy Ounce.There are 28 grams in a conventional ounce and 31 grams in a Troy Ounce.5. GreenForGold™ is located in the Diamond District of NYC the which is the Diamond Hub of the USA. We offer top dollar on all types of Diamonds-Large or Small, Clean or Commercial.
6. We buy the following Gems: Rubies, Sapphires, Emeralds and Diamonds.
7. No. We do not buy Gold Filled or Gold Plated material. Please do not send items marked G.F. or H.G.E.
8. No. Please do not send Costume Jewelry.
9. Yes. We buy Palladium and Rhodium.
10. No. We do not buy Computer Motherboards or Hard Drives. Please do not send them.
11. No. We do not buy Catalytic Converter material. Please do not send.
12. Yes. We pay more for Fine and Estate Jewelry.
13. Yes. We buy US coins with silver content. We can buy any coin that is made of silver.
14. Yes. We buy Silverware and Flatware. Please make sure that it is marked Sterling Silver or 925. WE DO NOT BUY SILVER PLATED ITEMS!
15. Yes. We buy Dental Gold and Palladium material such as crowns and lab left overs.
Shipping Answers:
1. Base insurance coverage on all packages is $250. If you require additional Insurance please request an Increased Insurance Shipping Kit here. If you already have a Shipping Kit please follow the included instructions on how to add additional insurance or call us.
2. No. You may ship a package to us using your own methods, but please fill out this Self Shipment Form to let us know that it is on the way.
3. Please follow the instructions included with the Kit or call us.
4. All of our Packages are trackable with a Delivery Confirmation Number so the risk of loss is extremely low. If in the event the package is lost, you will be covered under insurance.
5. Yes your package is insured during transit.
6. You can track your package at all times by logging in to your account.
7. If you know that our Shipping Kit will be too small for your shipment you may request a Shipping Label here, and tape it to your own box. If you already have a Kit you may cut the Label off of the packet and tape it to a box.
Payment Answers:
1. We can pay by Check, Money Order, Paypal, or Direct Deposit Bank Wire.
2. This means that payments are issued within 24 hours of the clients acceptance of the final amount.
3. As always GreenForGold™ will never do anything without the client's consent. All of our clients are contacted with the final amount for approval. WE DO NOT JUST SEND A CHECK.
4. GreenForGold™ offers various methods of payment such as Overnight Method if you need the money ASAP.
